SHOES

Dance

All jazz, lyrical, and technical students (comp and rec) are required to have dance shoes. We use a certain style and brand that need to be purchased through the studio. We usually have these in stock. Please see the reception desk to be sized. Shoes are $27 plus tax. Capezio brand shoes are $41 plus tax.

Students who take a ballet class will need to have ballet shoes. Students can be sized at the reception desk and ballet shoes will be ordered. They are $25 plus tax.

Cheer and Hip Hop Students

Cheer and Hip Hop students can wear any athletic-type shoe to class to practice. Certain shoes will be ordered for performances.

Tumbling and Acro Students

No shoes required.

Tuition

Starting in June 2023 all tuition will be due the 1st of every month (unless you make special arrangements with Amy). You will have a 5 day grace period to make your payment and if payment is not made by 8am on the 6th of each month, you will automatically be charged a $15 late fee. Late fees ($15) will continue to be added weekly until the payment is made. Late fees are not refundable. If you do not pay your late fee, your account will remain with an outstanding balance. Accounts with outstanding balances may not participate the following month until it is paid in full. Accounts with outstanding balances for more than three months will be sent to collections. Please communicate any tuition concerns with us. We are happy to work with you.

If you decide to stop taking a class you need to notify the studio via email at least one month in advance in order to not make the next months payment. For example, if you decide to be done December 1st then you need to notify the studio by November 1st or you will need to make the December payment for the spot you have taken. Competition teams start in June and finish in May. Students are responsible to pay the year in full for tuition (June- May tuition payments) if they start the comp season. If they decide to quit mid year they are still required to pay all tuition costs for that dance year.

2022-23 Tuition

Monthly Fee:

• Any 45 min class is $40 per month
• Any 60 min class is $45 per month

If you have more than one class please follow this breakdown to figure tuition:

1st hour $45

Hours 2-3 $40 per hour

Hours 4-5 $35

Hours 6-7 $30

Hours 8+ $25

Parents: Tuition can be paid by the following ways:

1. Cash (in an envelope with students name/class on it) Given to Simply Soda Cashier
2. Check or Visa to Simply Soda Cashier **Credit card transaction fee 2.6% +$0.10**. Please make checks payable to Simply posh dance Studio
3. AFCU Transfer to acct (email Studio for account details)
4. Bill Pay (use address 2300 N HWY 89, Ogden UT 84404. this comes by mail, so you need to send a couple weeks before the first lesson of month)
5. PayPal (using the checkout button below). * Be aware that a 3% charge will be added to your total bill when using PayPal.
6. Venmo @elevatedancestudio ** Transaction fee of 1.9% +$0.10**

Other Fees:

Registration Fee $45 per dancer (due at time of registration to hold spot)

Costume Fees (usually $75-95 per costume and does not include dance shoes, earrings, tights, cheer bows, poms, cheer or hip hop shoes). Those are all extra costs. Competition students will have team makeup.

Students in recreation classes that do both jazz and lyrical will order one jazz costume and one lyrical costume.

Competition students will have competition fees and choreography fees.

All students will have performance fees based on the number of routines they perform at recitals/showcases. These will be held at the Egyptian Theater and each student will be able to purchase a certain number of tickets for spectators. For the 2024 year the Elevate Showcase will be February 3rd and the end of year recital will be May 21. Tumbling students will have an in-studio tumbling showcase and recital besides advanced tumblers who may be invited to tumble at Egyptian theater.
